3D Seminar (Glass)

A forum for discussion of current issues in contemporary art :
What is contemporary art? – We investigate the responses of various artists, curators and writers in the field in order to arrive at a wholesome understanding of the topic that enriches our studio practice,

We read, research and present themes surrounding vision, perception and relationships that exist in the critical discourse of art so we may improve awareness and articulation of our work,
The course culminates in presentations by each student to situate one’s interests and objects in the context of contemporary art and history.

Preparation towards internships, theses, job applications and presentations.

The above will be accomplished through lectures, readings, individual and group research and discussions as well as field trips, visiting artists and student-generated content.
