Hot Glass Casting

An introduction to the central principles and techniques of casting molten glass directly from a furnace. Through demonstrations, assignment-based practice sessions, presentations and discussions, students are encouraged to investigate glass in relation to one’s artistic voice. Employing a range of materials and techniques, they conceptualize and execute glass forms of personal interest.
